Turn feedback into issues and tasks in one click

Create Jira, Linear, GitHub, Asana, or Trello items from any submission. Track status and link back to the source so the loop stays closed.

Actions in ShapeShip

What Actions gives you

Turn feedback into issues, tasks, and tickets—with full traceability.

One-click action creation

From a submission, create a linked issue or task in Jira, Linear, GitHub, Asana, Trello, or ClickUp. Pre-filled title and body with context.

Lifecycle tracking

See action status (open, in progress, done) in ShapeShip. Optional sync so status updates in the tool reflect in the submission view.

Ownership assignment

Assign the created item to a user or team in the destination tool. Set assignee at creation or later in the integration.

Status management

Track and optionally sync status between ShapeShip and the external tool. Know when feedback is resolved without leaving the inbox.

Deep-link to source

Every action links back to the submission. From Jira or Linear, open the original feedback and full context in ShapeShip.

Multiple actions per submission

Create more than one action from a single submission (e.g. Jira bug + Slack thread). All stay linked to the same submission.

How it works

1

Connect your tools

Link Jira, Linear, GitHub, Asana, Trello, or ClickUp in ShapeShip. Grant access to the projects or repos you use.

2

Create an action from a submission

Open a submission and choose “Create Jira issue” (or another action). Edit title/body if needed and create. The issue is linked to the submission.

3

Track and update

See the action in the submission detail. If the integration supports it, status and assignee sync from the tool.

4

Close the loop

When the issue is resolved, use status sync or manual update so the submission shows resolved. Optionally notify the submitter.
