By accessing or using SignalBoard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our service. SignalBoard is operated by Goodspeed Apps ("we", "us", "our").

Service description

SignalBoard is a feedback collection and management platform. We provide an embeddable widget for capturing user feedback, a dashboard for organizing submissions, analytics, and integrations with tools like Slack. Features vary by plan (Free or Pro).

Account responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your login credentials secure
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use SignalBoard.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use SignalBoard for any illegal purpose
Submit or collect content that violates others' rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
Use the service to send spam or abuse others
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Resell or redistribute the service without permission

Paid plans and billing

SignalBoard offers Free and Pro plans. For paid subscriptions:

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you're entitled to a refund, please contact us and we'll review your case.
Price changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Intellectual property

Our property: SignalBoard, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software except as expressly permitted.

Your content: You retain ownership of the feedback and content you collect through SignalBoard. By using our service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Third-party integrations

SignalBoard integrates with third-party services like Slack and Jira. Your use of these integrations is subject to those services' terms. We're not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may change.

Disclaimers

SignalBoard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of SignalBoard. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of SignalBoard, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we determine it's necessary to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use SignalBoard ends, and we may delete your data (subject to any legal retention requirements).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Goodspeed Apps is established. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of SignalBoard after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
